Andrea J. Klink, 59, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.
Born on October 16, 1964 in Lebanon, Indiana she was the daughter of William and Barbara (Fisher) Randel. She attended Western Boone High School graduating with the class of 1983 and went on to attend Purdue University.
On July 27, 1985 she married her junior high school sweetheart Tom Klink, they would share 38 years together. She spent many years working as a teacher’s aide at Argos Elementary. Andrea loved the children she worked with, and they loved her back as evident by the hugs she would receive when seeing them in town. She was a woman that lit up any room that she walked into with her beautiful smile, warmth, and caring heart.
Her patience and sweet disposition made her a wonderful mother and Nana. She adored her grandchildren and spent the last few years devoted to babysitting and spoiling them. The laughter and joy they shared will leave a legacy that will continue through generations. When not spending time with her boys, she enjoyed taking walks on the beach with her husband in Michigan and traveling together.
She is survived by her husband Tom of Plymouth; daughter Sarah (Mark) Roberts of Plymouth; sister Cindy (Dave) Koester of Hendersonville, TN; grandchildren Drew and Ben Roberts of Plymouth.
Andrea is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 10 am-12 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Pat Puglisi officiating.
Burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

I will never forget Mrs. Klink. She was my teacher aid in first grade. The amount of kindness that radiated from her was amazing. She would bring me little treats or toys and was always ready to greet me with a hug. I picked her as my “sunshine lady” in high school and we got to trade special gifts back and forth and she didn’t know I was her “secret lady” until the end of the year. You know she made an impact when I still remembered her from first grade, to high school, and now I’m 30 and still have these fond memories. Prayers of comfort to her friends and family as they grieve the loss of such an amazing woman ❤️

Andrea was such a special person to the Argos School community. She holds a very special place my children’s journey through school, and in this mom’s heart while she supported them when I couldn’t. Praying her soul finds peace and her family is surrounded by loving memories of her.

My heart is truly broken knowing that Andrea is no longer on this earth. She and Tom have been wonderful and special friends to us. I am so grateful to have known her and to have been privileged to call her a dear and close friend. My world will be a little less joyful knowing I will not see her this side of Heaven again. But I do know that she was such a kind, compassionate and giving person that I am certain she is walking the streets of heaven with our Lord and Savior. I will miss you sweet, Andrea but I look forward to when we will see one another again.

I am so sorry for your loss. Andrea was always so pleasant to all of us when she brought Sarah to the orthodontist. And even more recently when I saw her in town, she always smiled and spoke, always smiling and friendly. You are all in my prayers.

When my wife Barb was very ill with ALS and my daughter Megan was in and out of hospitals during high school, I remember so well the kindness and compassion of Andrea and Tom – always very concerned about how Barb and Megan were doing, visiting Barb’s grave site after she died, and inviting me to their house after I retired and was all alone. I am so sorry for your loss of such a precious person, and your family will be in my prayers.

With a gentle smile that time only made sweeter, Andrea will be deeply missed by all she touched in life. As a teacher I tried not to have favorites, but Andrea was special. She was always a good student made that made others around her feel welcome and appreciated. She was a special blessing in timeless ways it seems throughout her life. You couldn’t have ask for a better neighbor or friend than Andrea. Soft spoken, kind , never wanting to draw attention to herself she was such a gift.
Sometimes, Andrea and I would walk in Pilgrim Meadow on beautiful sunny days, making small talk, Andrea always with an easy smile and positive words.
My thoughts and prayers for her beautiful family. Andrea’s presence leaves a big void, but I have no doubt she is now walking on streets of gold.
