Bonnie R. Smith, 79, of Plymouth, passed away from health complications on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Born April 27, 1941 in Knox, Indiana she was the daughter to Homer and Dorothy (Croy) Personette. Preceded in death by her loving husband Harold Lee Smith (passed 2016). Married 52 wonderful years they were always together, always laughing and sharing their love with family and friends.
Bonnie worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 35 years from Catherine Kasper to homecare. She loved to travel and was always on the move often being phrased as the “woman on roller skates.” Bonnie loved to cook for her family and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them and her friends.
She is survived by her children: Lisa (Brian) Kuczka of Syracuse, IN; Harold (Monica) Smith of Knox, IN; Douglas (Christina) Smith of LaPorte, Traci (Tammi) Smith of North Judson; sisters, Bobbi Peters of Plymouth and Susie Schrader of Plymouth; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday December 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Charles Krieg officiating.

The family would like to personally thank Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care and support they gave to their mother.
