I worked with Joan in the jr. high /high school special needs classroom for 8 years, and again, in Plymouth. She was great to work with and went beyond her expectations. We remained friends after her retirement (and mine). It saddens me that I haven’t been able to see her because of the restrictions from the virus, and that I won’t be able to see her anymore. Rest In Peace, Special Friend.
