Steven C Faulstich of Plymouth, IN, age 68, passed away at University of Chicago Medical Center on July 8, 2022.
Steve was born the son of Virgil & Margaret (Houin) Faulstich, on April 2, 1954, in Plymouth, IN. Steve lived his entire life in Plymouth, graduating from Plymouth High School in 1973.
A lifelong farmer, Steve spent his younger years in a partnership with his dad and brother in the Dairy Business. Then in 1987, with four boys of his own, he decided to venture out and started his own Dairy Operation. During his time, he appeared twice in Prairie Farmer Magazine for his success in incorporating new feed management technology, and the management of his herd improving the overall milk production on his Dairy Farm. When he wasn’t farming, he enjoyed watching his sons play sports, hunting, mushroom hunting, cutting firewood, and watching Indiana basketball. In his retirement years, he added gardening to his list of hobbies and embraced his title of “Grandpa” spending as much time as he could with his granddaughters.
He is survived by his sons, Adam Faulstich of Plymouth, IN, Ryan (Nicole) Faulstich of Bremen, IN, Kevin (Melissa) Faulstich of Etna Green, IN, Kyle Faulstich of Columbus, MI along with granddaughters Payton, Parker, Paisley, Evren, Hasana and Hebekah, who were his pride and joy.
He is also survived by former wife, Mary Dunham Faulstich, siblings Eugene (Carolyn) Faulstich of Plymouth, IN, David (Veda) Faulstich of Plymouth, IN, Marie (Bob) White of Lafayette, IN, and Carol (Brian) Blake of Plymouth, IN along with numerous nieces and nephews, all who he was very proud of.
