Mr. William Espich, age 80, passed away on September 28, 2019.
William was born in Bremen, IN to Lloyd Sr. and Bernice (Kaylor) Espich. William married Gloria Wooley at the Brethren Church in Plymouth, Indiana on September 30, 1962. The couple enjoyed a beautiful marriage lasting just shy of 57 years.
He started driving a truck at the age of 18, hauling steel for the automotive industry. He owned Espich trucking and a few other businesses throughout his life. He loved his time on the open road, often having his faithful canine companion Herschel by his side.
Being aware of his communities needs he started a food bank clearing house. Area churches and non for profits were able to use this as a hub to pick up and distribute food. Bill was a very humble and kind-hearted man. He showed his faith by doing quiet good works.
His children sent Gloria and him to Hawaii for their 25th anniversary, in which they enjoyed so much they quickly purchased a place there. One of his favorite things to do was to take long walks on the beaches of Hawaii with his family.
William was a member of the Countyline Brethren Church in LaPaz, the Plymouth American Legion Post #27, Loyal order of the Moose #741, and the Veterans of Foreign War #8972, and the Elks #2548.
He is survived by his wife Gloria of Plymouth, his daughter Angela (Todd) Zareski of Chenequa Wi.; son William Espich II of Plymouth; grandchildren, Geoffrey (Haley) Espich, William (Bethany) Espich II, Nathaniel Zakreski, and Rebecca Zakreski; brother and sister-in-laws Terry (Mary) Wooley and Carolyn Wooley; many nieces and nephews, friends and other relatives also survive. William was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Sr. and Bernice and his brother Lloyd Jr..
Public Visitation will be held Tuesday, 1st of October 2019, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St Plymouth, In 46563.

Dan & I wish to extend our most heartfelt condolences to Gloria and the Espich family.
We shared many good times and hold dear wonderful memories with Bill and Gloria, while members at the Plymouth Elks.
“Uncle” Bill as we affectionately called him, was a gentle man, in every sense of the word.
He doted on Miss Gloria and the bond they shared was so very special. There was always a special gleam in his eyes whenever he spoke of her.
Rest in peace Uncle Bill – you can now fly with the Angels

My sympathies to Gloria and the family of Bill Espich. My late husband, Richard Bean, always spoke very highly of you both, as business owners and individuals. Blessings to each of you at this time and in the future.
